Junkies, now you can have your own e-Picker
Friday, September 18, 2009 at 3:28PM Anyone in the industry knows what the old school term, “picker” means. Simply put, in the antiques business, a picker is someone who finds things for dealers and collectors. They either buy the item themself to re-sell it, or they work for a finders fee.
Well, I’m just found a very cool tool, called Yotify, that I plan on using as a sort of e-Picker. Yotify sends out “Scouts” to search what you’re looking for based on values you set within it’s search. Not only can you find antiques, but you can send scouts to look for jobs, events, even social conversations online.
Below is a video that can explain it much better than I can. If this tool pans out, you’ll be hearing more from me on it.
