The Giant Squid joins the Circus! Newsletter 2.O

….This just in….

Wanna make a million dollars? Find these paintings and your set.

$1,000,000 reward for stolen Warhol works.

Artwork by Andy Warhol worth millions has been stolen from businessman Richard Weisman a private collector. The collection included 10 pieces 1977-79. The subject of the collection was famous athletes.
A reward of one million dollars is being offered for information leading to the return of the collection.

The theft was discovered by an employee of Mr. Weisman’s on September 3rd.

It’s said that this is one of the highest dollar Los Angeles home robberies in years. The crooks made off with Andy Warhol paintings of the 1970s that are iconic. The one-of-a-kind, silk screen paintings included Muhammad Ali, O.J. Simpson and Chris Evert.

Police are confident that the artwork will surface since it would be tough to sell, since it’s so notable. I have a feeling that factor, and the million dollar reward will prove the police right.

If you have information regarding these works, contact the LAPD.

Get your free eBook!

Included as mentioned last week, is a link to my eBook,  “Selling Your Valuables in Tough Times” that will be available at this link for 48hrs only!

After that you’ll have to hunt for the book.

As some of you know, I’ve decided to start giving the book away, be allowing anyone else to give it away OR sell it and keep 100% of the profit, with only one caveat. You cannot change one word of the copyrighted material.

Some folks have questioned the logic of this unorthodox distribution plan, citing potential customer dissatisfaction from those who find out the book they paid for, is offered free elsewhere.

 But let me explain:

Although the book cannot be changed, it can be bundled in a packaged with other ebooks, software and products, commentary and analysis can be written and added as addendum, or a multitude of other possibilities abound. This theory is similar to the way linux has distributed it’s free OS. And now many developers have built fantastic apps, some of them free, and some packaged with linux for a hefty fee.

The great thing is that as more links are added, the book will grow but the sponsor links remain for 1 years from the date they are placed.

Watch for “Easter Eggs”, and ever-changing forwards to the book.
I anticipate that the book will go viral with many thousands being downloaded, after all, it’s important info, and I’m giving it, and the re-sell rights away.

Q:  What if someone figures out a way to bypass the .PDF file and puts their own links in the book?

A:  There’s no real incentive to do this because, a “jacked” book won’t have get the “juiced” that the legit copies benefit from by being in the distributive/social network associated with the legitimate book.

The book actually has 2 values, which are:

1) The important information provided. 2) Access & links to some of the most  active teachers, sellers, movers and shakers in the business.

Would you like to find out about placing links in the book?  Read more to find out how. Click here to find out more!

Tips to find out if an Auctioneer is jackin bids in the room

Ways experienced auction attendees use to find out if an auctioneer is pulling “air bids”  are:

  • By standing in the back of the room to get a panoramic of the bid process.
  • Listening to make sure there is a winning bidder number, but if he’s slick, a jacked item will always end up with the legitimate floor bidder. After all, the point is to get it in their hands for the most money.
  • If lots hammer down to a mysterious absentee bidder # that comes up too often, it  could indicate the auction house is using a house # to bid. In some cases however, it’s legitimate for the house to bid if they do not own the lot, but it should not be often, and they should disclose this.
  • Ask a few of the other dealers there. Sometimes an auctioneer will do this as a habit, and if so, everyone knows it. You can either deal with that, leave, or file a complaint.
