What's it worth? Appraisal of Hepplewhite sideboard

Email Article Alex asks:
Greetings Walt,
Thank you very much for the e-mail. I received your name and website info from Danna Crawford here in Ocala, Florida as a result of her efforts to sell a number of items for me on eBay.
Danna thought that you would likely be able to help me with the valuation of a sideboard my mother purchased about 50 years ago and that I am considering selling.
Being a fan of Antiques Roadshow, I have tried but failed to find any distinguishing maker’s marks on the piece.
Thanks for your help. I hope to have the photos to you by the weekend.
Take care, Alex
AW says: Hi Alex, what you have is a Hepplewhite revival piece of furniture. This style, invented by George Hepplewhite who died in 1786, like many other poplular styles, was revived later. Evidence in photos shown here and other photos you’ve sent indicate use of automatic machine assisted tools which of course would have had to have come after 1830, (the Industrial Revolution) .
That said, it’s still a wonderful sideboard and a very nice piece of antique furniture.
Circa mid to late 1800s, most likely made with a Mahogany or Black Wanut veneer.
Retail value $375-$400
Wholesale $150-$200
Quick sale $100
