What can you tell me about this decanter set?

AW says: That’s a 19th century brandy/cognac set with caddy. The style is European, most likely French. You’ve indicated in your email that it’s not signed, however you were good enough to send a picture of the bottom of the caddy which allowed me to determine the age, and the fact that it’s solid brass.

The detacanters are “acid etched” a process involving wax and acid. Basically the glass is coated in wax, the design is carved in the wax, and acid is applied to make the design.
