What's it worth? Appraisal for corner cabinet

It is a corner cabinet that is well over 100 years old. It was in my parents home in Ohio and had
been in the family for several generations. It is approximately 48” wide and extends from the corner out about 30”. If you need additional information please contact me.


AW says: That’s a Victorian era country style corner cabinet. It’s tough to say what kind of wood this is, but it could be cherry. It appears to be in excellent condition, and has it’s original hardware.
These were very popular in the older, odd shaped homes where often room was at a premium. It’s circa 1870-1900. Also adding to value, is the functionality, and the handsome form. These are generally very collectible, but realize that the furniture market is slow right now.
