What's it worth? Appraisal for antique side by side server/ china cabinet

Email Article Tina asks:
Hi, I know nothing about this cabinet other than it was given to my Mother by an older lady in Boston. As you can see from the pictures my Aunt was going to try and restore it and some of the original finish is partially removed from the bottom door.
There is also a crack down the glass on the side of the cabinet. Other than that there has been nothing done to this cabinet since my Mother took position. It has been in our family for at least 45 years.
The top glass is blue and the middle door is curved outward. On the lower side cabinet the glass is curved inward.
I have looked everywhere for some sort of markings but can’t seem to find anything. I looked on the bottom as well. If you need any additional pictures feel free to ask.
ps. please excuse the cat. She seems to love the flash of the camera and was insistent in getting in the way.

AW says: That’s an exceptional “side-by-side” combination server/ china closet. This is the wealthy man’s model of the day. These were often made by Larkin co. and distributed by Sears and Roebucks.
Your deluxe model has applied carving, beveled glass on the mirrors, concave and convex glass as well.
The wood is oak and tiger oak, the style is Victorian. I would NOT do any other refinish work. My appraisal reflects the issues you’ve stated above. No worry about the cat, I have two, so I know what you mean!
