What's it worth? Appraisal of hand wrought mace

Please tell me what you can about this mace/flail.  I recently purchased this from a collector.  It is forged, not cast - I do know that.  I also did some research and found a picture of one of these in a museum in Berlin.  15th Century German flail?

AW says: What you have Todd is a modern hand wrought version of an early medieval mace. We know this from patina, (thanks for sending additional photos) amount of wear, thickness and design of chain, sharp lines on almost every edge, what appears to be a machined wooden  handle, (of course the handle could have been replaced,) among other factors.

I’ve no doubt that it’s all hand forged, or wrought, and that the worki is of good quality, but it’s a decorative 20th century reproduction.
