What's it worth? Appraisal Emile Louis Picault bronze

Hello,
My father has this statue that was given to my grandfather in the 1920’s (?) It is bronze, stands about 36” tall and has markings on the bottom that you can see in the photos. I don’t know any more about it that. It has a few scratches but otherwise seems to be in good condition.

AW says: This is a wonderful Emile Louis Picault bronze statue. He was was a French sculptor (1833-1915) who was a student of Royer. He is most known for his bold works of warriors, patriots and heroic figures.
He has an extensive collection of work. which has been sold in many of the finest auction houses in the world.
