AW says: Actually Jodi, you have two different things here, the main item is very neat. It’s a space age, Sputnik barometer. It was meant to be mounted on a wall to give the appearance of floating in the air. The second is some sort of dial that I would need better pics of in order to give you more information.

As for your main item, the Sputnik barometer, these are very collectible and in fashion among retro collectors.
