What's it worth? Mohair Teddy Bear w/ red tongue
Donna asks:
The second item is also a teddy bear. It is 12” tall, jointed mohair. I believe it is straw stuffed. It has a non working growler. It has three claws on his feet and hands. The stiching on the nose is vertical and I think his pads are original. The bear has glass eyes and a small red stitching at the mouth ( a tongue?) Both of his legs are pointing left???
Again, no idea what year or who made it. As was the case with the first bear - there are no markings. Thanks Walt.

AW says: This is an interesting bear and I’ve not seen one with two feet pointing left before. Since the jointed legs are lined up, we can determine that this is not really a defect.
The red stitching is a tongue and your close-ups of him show that he does have some wear and that some of the mohair is worn away.
He’s circa 1930-45 and I’d say English or US made.
