What's it worth? Appraisal for brass Art Deco light fixture
Sheryl asks:
Hi Wally,
I bought this fixture about 30 years ago at an antique warehouse called Charles & Charles in LA, CA. They only sell to dealers and designers.
Thanks for the prompt appraisal.
Sheryl

AW says: That’s an art deco style lighting fixture with a neo-classic European influence. The difference between a solid brass, and a brass plated fixture is significant, I’m appraising this based on your statement that it is brass, if you find otherwise, send me the updated info and I’ll re-assess.
Charles and Charles sells high quality antique reproductions as well as antiques. The “candles” their fixture cylindrical covers and the chain from which this fixture hangs from, tells me this is not a period piece, but still of very good quality.
