Penn reel inspection

AW says: Recently I was asked to inspect these two reels for evidence of originality. The one to the right has had the paint job touched up. The one on the left is in original condition.

These vintage Penn reels should have a matte finish, and the one to the left does, but the one on the right clearly has a glossy paint finish on the bracket. As with any collectible that has been re-touched, some value is lost.
