Definition of Hawkes Crystal & Identification Mark

Hawkes cut glass or crystal was manufactured by T.G. Hawkes & co. Corning New York beginning 1880.
The co. cut from glass blocks made at other glass companies and was in operation until 1962.
This is one of the finer American cut glass companies.

Some pieces have the trademark, but many do not.
