What's it worth? Appraisal for Buckboard wagon
Randy says:
Wally
This wagon was purchased new from J. D. Newman Wagon and Mule store in Sandersville GA. by my Grandfather in the late 1800’s. He used this wagon on a mail route for several years.
The wagon has been stored inside since it’s last use. I helped my Father move it from my Grandfathers home place to our home in the mid 1970’s. We pulled it behind a pulpwood truck right down the highway to our house and placed it in my Dad’s barn where it has been to this day.
I have inherited this wonderful piece of history and would like to find out the value of it in case it is sold or donated to the local historical society.

AW says: This is a nice little work or family go to town buckboard wagon. It appears to be in excellent condition. These are still popular on farms and in rural areas. Today’s equivalent might be a small Chevy pick-up truck. It’s circa late 1800s as you’ve indicated.
