What's it worth? Appraisal of GE console stereo
Jennifer asks:
What can you tell me about my old record player?

AW says: This is a 1960s console stereo unit, record player and radio. The quality of sound at the time was top notch. The walunt wood case and speakers enclosed would have produced a sound unmatched by table top or other portable machines.
That said, these fall into a kind of collectible limbo, because they’re not old enough to be very collectible, and not new enough to serve everyday use. These factors, coupled with thier size, make them a tough sell.
